The book is about the experience of walking in nature and our connections with the seasons. Twelve walks are described, lavishly illustrated with pages from my art journals and sketchbooks. Poems are included from celebrated poets, including John Masefield, Edward Thomas and Elizabeth Barrett -Browning – who were drawn to a particular area of Herefordshire and Gloucestershire.
